Primitive Baptist. Extensive website with history of
Primitive Baptist Churches, county by county, in over thirty
states, mostly in the Midwest, but including some information
for states across the northern tier of America. For some of
these states there is only sketchy information, but for others
(such as Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Iowa) there is a fair
amount of detailed information. The authors have tried to locate
and obtain church records, and have entered the names of members
into a database, and have also put the surnames of the members
on the website for each church, county by county. They began
working on our database in 1986, and it presently has over
53,000 entries, and they are adding to it all the time as they
find more church records.
