Klockenhagen -- Groß Ernsthof Trestle Mill

The mill was built in Groß Ernsthof, a rural district of East Lower Pomerania, in 1780. It was employed as a grain mill up until the middle of the 20th century.

Construction - The entire mill is held up by trestles, which consist of four shafts and a main beam that have been place perpendicularly. The mill hutch, a wooden construction consisting of plans, is held up by the Four beam. The flour beam is positioned on the main beam and can rotate. On the reverse side of the mill, there is a stair case, and the stilt, with which the mill hutch, or the wing cross, respectively are driven against the wind. On the upper side of the mill hutch, the wing shaft is positioned onto two flour beams. On the wind shafts a wooden wheel can be found and it serves to drive the milling process.
